Kept Light Privacy Policy

Kept Light is an iPhone app published by Morrow Lantern Co. LLC, a limited liability company (“we”, “us”).

The short version

Kept Light does not collect, store, or share your personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What stays on your device

• Your goals, fasting times, kept and missed days, and streak counts.
• The photo you pick for your picture, and the mosaic made from it.
• Your settings.
• The date you first opened the app, so we can tell when your 14 days of full access end. It is kept in your iPhone’s Keychain, on your device.

This data is stored only in the app on your iPhone. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is removed with the app.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account or sign-up.
• We do not collect your name, email address, location, health data, contacts, or device identifiers.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and we do not include third-party software kits that collect data.
• We do not sell or share your information, because we do not have it.

Purchases

Kept Light Plus is bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment and keeps its own records under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your name, Apple ID, or payment details. The app only asks Apple, on your device, whether you have an active purchase, so it knows which features to turn on. We do not use a third-party payment service.

Photos

You choose one photo with the iOS photo picker, so Kept Light does not get access to your photo library. The app builds your picture on your device and keeps a smaller copy of that photo in its own private storage on your device. It is never uploaded. If you choose to save your finished picture, Kept Light adds it to your photo library, which is the only photo permission the app asks for.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled on your device by iOS. They use no server, and you can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.

Backups

Your iPhone may include app data in your own iCloud or computer backups, under your own Apple settings. That is controlled by Apple and you, not by us.

Health and fasting

Kept Light is a personal tracking and motivation tool. It does not give medical advice. It does not read from or write to Apple Health.

Children

Kept Light does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
